We're suppose to register with the state each year but that's it. Most homeschoolers I know don't even bother doing that much and the state really doesn't seem to care.

I think I would be a wreck if we had to keep portfolios, test, or send letters. I totally understand your point.

Oh and I finally got around to adding you to my blogroll. I'm going to add you to my HS blogroll as well (sonacreidhe.blogspot.com). :)Johttp://lifewithheathens.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9158356678544299344.post-56550010770585337192008-04-09T11:13:00.000-04:002008-04-09T11:13:00.000-04:00I am new to the home school system and It was a re...I am new to the home school system and It was a really rash decision so I never knew anything about testing or letters. Then people started asking me about that and I panicked a bit. I guess each state is different. Apparently where I live (idaho) you aren't required to test or have a teacher send letters. I don't know. It's all odd... But I agree with you, I want AWAY from it!Mistyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09505420894898738638noreply@blogger.com
